Terms of Use
Last updated October 2026. WALLIOO, Madrid, Spain.
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the WALLIOO software and services. By using the Service, or by signing an order form that references these Terms, the customer organization (“Customer”) agrees to them. Where an order form or master agreement signed by both parties conflicts with these Terms, that signed agreement prevails.
1. Definitions
- Service: the WALLIOO software — including Browser Guard, Gateway, Control and connectors — and any related support and professional services.
- Authorized Users: employees and contractors of the Customer, and AI agents or applications registered by the Customer, that are permitted to use the Service.
- Customer Data: data submitted to or processed by the Service on behalf of the Customer.
- Policies: the rules configured by the Customer that determine how the Service allows, blocks, masks, transforms, approves or logs interactions.
2. The Service
WALLIOO provides the Service as described in the applicable order form and documentation. WALLIOO may improve and update the Service over time, provided that updates do not materially reduce the functionality the Customer has contracted.
3. Free trials
WALLIOO may offer a free trial of Browser Guard for 30 days, or another period stated in writing. Trials are provided “as is”, may be limited in users or features, and end automatically unless the Customer subscribes. Data from a trial is deleted after it ends unless the Customer subscribes.
4. Accounts and Authorized Users
The Customer is responsible for its Authorized Users, for keeping credentials and enrollment PINs confidential, and for promptly notifying WALLIOO of any unauthorized access.
5. Policies and detection
Policies configured by the Customer are applied by the Service exactly as configured to every interaction that passes through a WALLIOO control point, and each decision is recorded in the audit trail. The Customer is responsible for defining Policies that reflect its own requirements.
Automatic detection of personal data in free text and documents relies on a statistical AI model. It achieves high accuracy — 99.5% on the AI4Privacy PII-detection benchmark — but no statistical model can guarantee that every item of sensitive data will be recognized in every context. WALLIOO therefore recommends complementing it with Customer-defined rules, which are applied deterministically.
6. Acceptable use
The Customer shall not, and shall ensure its Authorized Users do not: use the Service in violation of applicable law; use it to circumvent the Customer’s own security controls; reverse-engineer, decompile or copy the Service except as permitted by law; resell or provide the Service to third parties; or interfere with its integrity or performance.
7. Customer Data and data protection
The Customer retains all rights in Customer Data. WALLIOO processes Customer Data only to provide the Service and on the Customer’s documented instructions, as set out in the data processing agreement, which forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy describes what each component processes.
8. Third-party services
The Service works with third-party AI providers and enterprise platforms chosen by the Customer, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, ServiceNow or Salesforce. Their use is governed by the Customer’s own agreements with those providers, and WALLIOO is not responsible for their availability or for how they process data they receive.
9. Intellectual property
WALLIOO and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including its models, software and documentation. Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fees, WALLIOO grants the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during the subscription term for its internal business purposes. Feedback the Customer provides may be used to improve the Service.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least reasonable care, use it only to perform under these Terms, and disclose it only to personnel and advisers who need to know it and are bound by equivalent obligations.
11. Fees
Fees, billing periods and payment terms are set out in the applicable order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of taxes.
12. Warranties and disclaimers
WALLIOO warrants that it will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care and substantially in accordance with its documentation. Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided without other warranties, express or implied. WALLIOO supports the Customer’s controls and evidence; compliance with applicable law remains the Customer’s responsibility.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages or loss of profits, and each party’s total liability is limited to the fees paid or payable by the Customer in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct or liabilities that cannot be limited by law.
14. Term, suspension and termination
These Terms apply for the subscription term in the order form. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 30 days of notice. WALLIOO may suspend access to protect the Service or comply with law, with notice where possible. On termination, the Customer may request an export of its metadata within 30 days, after which it is deleted.
15. Changes to these Terms
WALLIOO may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified to Customer administrators at least 30 days before they take effect.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. The courts of Madrid, Spain, have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
